Chinese naval taskforce back to South China Sea

(Peopledaily) The four warships of the combat-readiness patrol and high-sea training taskforce under the South China Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) sailed through the Bashi Channel and entered the South China Sea at 22:00 on April 1, 2013 after accomplishing its training subjects in the waters of the western Pacific Ocean.

During the past three days, the taskforce has conducted the training on various subjects such as sailing control, targeted right-safeguarding, integration of single warship elements, special situation handling and so on, and carried out live-ammunition firing by main guns and secondary guns.
